Drive

Drive, to have a drive in life is the best feeling in the world. it is vague enough to cover everything. It can be as simple as a TV show on in the evening, it could be a wedding or holiday.  The drive to get out of bed, to push that little harder is the best feeling. To think that in this fucked up, cynical world there is hope and good things is very hard for me to fathom.
Drive to work at your job is a must. coming from a place where no one, (ok 95% of the people) do NOT WANT TO WORK THERE! how, how is this happening? I can only begin to imagine how this feels. waking up, knowing what to expect day in day out. not every job is suitable for everyone, but for the whole workforce to be against not only the company but the manager too, it only a matter of time before the company cottons on and makes changes.
There are people there who i know work as hard as they can above and over what is expected, but with no praise. This saps their drive away. takes it and throws it in a little corner. there are people there who want to work, to the highest standard, but feel stifled by the measures in place.
I have left because my Drive was too much for the company.
I don't feel there is much there for the people i left behind who are so talented but stuck in the shop. I wish them well and hope the realize their talents and expertise and capitalize on them.

Feng shui

Ahh..feng shui,

The movement of our worldly good in the direction of a spiritual home. This can be a body of water, stars or mountains.
I have just 'feng shuied' my bedroom. It appears that i have a new spiritual home. it has a reoccurring theme throughout my home. I have just become to realise that my God is the T.V.. I have always thought of myself as a non spiritual person, but due to the introduction on a Nintendo Wii I have participated in maneuvering all our bedroom finisher around the 'Wii god' and the TV. its like Moses and the burning bush. God is the Wii and the TV is the burning bush giving us the Word.
It commands us to push us to our limit's, with strict rules, but also giving the impression of freedom. It constantly judges us but is never angry at us. We can ignore it for as long as we like but still embraces us when we return.
There are people who are great believers in it, those who dabble and those who are against it. there is a main book (instruction manual)and subsequent publication about it. none of the true believers can wait for the second coming.

what have we become?

Create a problem!!

The new Gaviscon advert have gone a step further!
not content with helping people with heart burn overcome their problem discreetly, they have gone a step further  Why not enjoy those things you love that cause heart burn, take them, eat them, and no need to suffer!! it a miracle.
how can eating a hot dog, dirty unhealthy food be warranted by taking a pill which tricks your brain and body into believing everything is OK?
in a board room somewhere...
"we have solved the problem of heart burn!"
"What's next?"
"The people who don't have heart burn?"
"How?"
"|You know those food that are bad for you?"
"yeah?"
"what if you could bypass the bad gut reaction....."
next up...

eat whatever you like,,,,it wont matter, put the weight on and pile it on, no need to worry, just a small procedure, (gastric band) and you'll be right as rain before too long!!

lets not bypass the bodies natural reaction to fatty, unhealthy foods. listen you you GUT.

To wake up in a carnival!!

Imagine going home, going to bed, having a good night sleep. wake up and look outside and someone had build a whole carnival around your home. Thats my day. people everywhere, my paid for convence of living in the city center, dashed with my 5 mins walk to town taking a frustrating 25 mins.
no warning, and im sorry if i have not taken enough interest in my local community with the local paper being aliking to youth mob manual and obituary.
now just time to wait for the dull flat wide headache to subside then bed. the windows of my bedroom have been vibrating since 2pm!! 12 hours later they will still be shaking like a leaf. once a year why cant they fuck off to a feild like every other festival. to close a large portion of a city center for some children to dress up and dance and cowboys to hastily build some carnival toys and possibly Ecoli ridden over priced food. all in the crowded city street!!!
use a park, field, football ground, cricket ground, i don't care, fuck off my door step.
i know there will be a mountain of shit all over the floor when i go out in the morning. nothing i like better than wading through poorly planned party smeared all over the street. how about i have a (in any other circumstance noise that loud in a residential area would be illegal) party in front of your house or better still in your garden, empty a months worth of rubbish when i leave in the early hours of the morning.
rant over, but the 'cowboy carnival is not'.

next best thing!!

I don't know if you have been following the Anonymous/LulzSec or not but this is the gist of what i can take from it.
Anonymous is a group of hackers who appear to target groups or organizations who they don't agree with. they do this on a large enough scale to get media attention, but not enough to cause any lasting damage. LulzSec, on the other hand are a small group of defected Anonymous members, (possible have rejoined) who wanted to go on a six week rampage across the internet. They have caused damage and outages to high profile web sites including government ones.
they have a keen following, with a positive attitude to what they have 'achieved'. i have 3 questions.

why have a group of tech geeks got the ability to hack into the CIA, SOCA and other high level government and commercial sites?
why do people find this admirable, aliking them to a modern day robbing hood or just a mear skally wag??
why are these sites not better defended against this type of attack? is it money,  not enough to employ the 'top guys'. or the people truly dedicate to the pushing of the boundaries  of what is capable through the online world not driven by monetary value but a different set of priorities.

i only wish that Ben Merzrich would get involved and show a true and account account of what just happened in the past 30 days|!

fire fire, call in the pro's!!

"The Simply Thai takeaway next door was also damaged, with the ceiling falling down into the restaurant, while a white Citroen van parked outside the salon was wrecked.
It belonged to Kawa Mohamed, 31, who works in the Istanbul Mini Market next to the restaurant.
He said: "I was in the shop when a customer came in and said there was a fire. I saw the flames and called the police but it was only after I checked to see if the people in the salon were OK that I saw my van. The fire probably burned so quickly because of the kind of things in the salon, like nail varnish.""

taken from the evening post, Bristol.

called the police for a fire?? what can we do for these poeple??
